Job Description

We are currently looking for a full time person to help take our company to the next level!  We are currently projecting major growth and need your help!  We are looking for a motivated Business Development Rep.  We are a local water restoration contractor that has been in business for over 35 years.  This position does not require any industry background, we are ready to train.  If you want a work environment that is fun, organized and values its employees, this could be the job for you!

Supervisory Responsibilities

Description           

  • Initial contact with the customer and assessment of water damage.
  • Estimating scope of the water damage.
  • Securing the project (sales).
  • Handing off project to experienced crew chiefs.
  • Ensuring project work meets the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service at all times.
  • Representation on Werner Restoration Services emergency mitigation on-call management rotation.
  • Communication with insurance adjusters and Werner Restoration Services  staff.


 

Qualifications

  • Customer facing experience preferred.
  • Must be confident with the ability to close the deal.
  • Must be a great rapport builder who understands the need for trust building in the sales environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a clean driving record and background check.
  • Project Manager Experience is a plus.
  • Customer services oriented sales professional.

Job Description

Werner Restoration is currently looking for the right candidate to help take our company to the next level!  Learn and perform a variety of new skills, including equipment set-up, demolition of building materials, pack up and put back the personal property of customers' homes affected by water or fire damage.  On call rotation is required.  We are flexible with schedules and promote work life balance.

Job Duties

*  Follows all proper drying protocols

*  Creates, updates, and maintains job-specific paperwork, including but not limited to, emergency or repair authorizations; equipment logs; labor logs; daily psychrometric readings; moisture mapping; material logs; etc. (All of this in accordance wtih Werner Restoration best practices.)

*  Adheres to EPA lead safe best practices as well as in charge with identifying potential asbestos containing materials and assists with coordinating respective testing.

*  Climbs up and down ladders

*  Performs general demolition

*  Sets up containment areas

*  Communicates effectively and efficiently with all parties involved.

*  Keeps job sites clean and organized

Qualifications

* Positive and fun attitude

*  Able to perform physical labor and able to lift 75 lbs

*  Must be able to read and write fluently in English

*  Clean driving record required

*  Experience in the construction or restoration trades a plus, but not required

*  Must be willing to undergo background check and drug screening.  

Experience & Education

Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: 

Experience.  

  • Ability to use a smart phone and apps within the phone 

  • General computer skills encouraged 

  • Familiar with basic hand and power tools 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is: Regularly required to:  

  • Sit and walk 

  • Bend, climb, kneel, and stoop 

  • Crawl under structures, climb ladders, get on roofs, and crawl/walk in attics 

  • See to read printed materials and a computer screen 

  • Talk and hear to communicate in person, in groups, and over the telephone 

  • Reach with hands and arms 

  • Use finger dexterity to handle and operate power tools and hand tools 

  • Answer & handle phone calls and able to communicate in the English language 

Occasionally required to: 

  • Lift up to 75 lbs. independently and 150 lbs. with assistance 

  • Use hands to handle and feel; operate objects, tools, or controls 

  • Operate a motor vehicle 

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works both inside and outside, where the employee is exposed to various weather conditions, which range from extreme cold to extreme hot.  The employee will regularly be exposed to moderate noise levels, wet and/or humid conditions, and vibration. The employee will frequently work inside and on top of various buildings or structures, as well as near moving mechanical parts.  The employee is exposed to varying noise levels, humidity, temperatures, and odors.
